You can request deletion of your Party Ludo account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to make the request, what gets deleted, what we are legally required to keep, and how long the process takes.
How to Request Account Deletion
To request that your Party Ludo account be deleted, send an email to support@partyludo.com from the email address that is registered with your account, with the following details:
- Subject: "Delete my Party Ludo account"
- The registered email address on the account you want deleted
- The registered mobile number (if you remember it) — this helps us verify the request faster
We must receive the request from the email address registered to the account so we can confirm the request is genuinely from you. We will reply within two working days to confirm we have received your request, and again once the deletion is complete.
What Gets Deleted
When we process your account deletion request, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your profile (name, email, mobile number, avatar)
- Your account credentials (password hash)
- Your in-app statistics (games played, games won, win rate)
- Your host statistics (games hosted, average rating)
- Your saved preferences (auto-mark toggle, voice settings)
- Your support tickets and feedback submissions
What Is Kept (and Why)
A small amount of data may be retained after account deletion because we are legally required to keep it, or because it has been anonymised and can no longer be linked back to you:
- Game history (anonymised): Historical game records may keep your in-game display name as it appeared when you played, so that other players who took part in the same game still see a complete game history. We do not keep your email, mobile number, or any contact information against these anonymised records.
- Application and security logs: Standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) are retained for up to 90 days for security, abuse prevention, and debugging, after which they are automatically purged.
- Records required by law: Any records we are required to retain by Indian law (for example, financial records under the Income Tax Act if you ever paid for a premium feature) are kept for the period the law requires, after which they are deleted.
How Long It Takes
We aim to complete every account deletion request within 30 days of receiving and verifying it. In most cases the deletion is completed within a few working days.
If You Just Want to Stop Using the App
If you would prefer to simply stop using Party Ludo without permanently deleting your account, you can sign out of the app and uninstall it from your device at any time. Your account will remain available if you decide to come back later.
